
Tan Teck Chuan, age 45, had his early education in Kluang, Johor and completed his tertiary education at Tuanku Abdul Rahman College in 1998 with a Diploma in Commerce.
Teck Chuan joined the workforce soon after leaving college and was trained in the secretarial profession in several secretarial firm, among which he spent two years at Signet & Co Sdn Bhd, the Secretarial division of Ernst & Young. In 2004, his entrepreneur spirit lead him to set up Keeyaa Corporate Services Sdn Bhd, a management firm offering advisory and consultation on business setup and related operational matters with focus on corporate secretarial and administration, accounts and finance, payroll and management planning and restructuring. Keeyaa also handles work permit application and licensing applications with MIDA and CIDB.
Keeyaa presently has more than 200 clients, mainly small medium enterprises set up by local Malaysians as well as foreign investors. Teck Chuan has offered his services as nominee director for some of the foreign clients.
Teck Chuan is also an approved Goods and Services Tax (GST) Agent licensed by the Ministry of Finance since 2015. He has worked with various organisations on building awareness on the impact of GST, tackling transitional issues and implementing GST operational systems.
